  • Tipo de noticia: Registro

Recently inaugurated at the MUAC of the UNAM ‘Una modernidad hecha a mano’, the exhibition curated by Ana Elena Mallet, which seeks to understand and question the notion of artisanal design produced and theorized in Mexico from 1950 to the present.

The Candela table, the Galeana stool, the Pangea tableware, Flores Flores and the Molcaware are part of the selection of objects presented in this exhibition, as part of the pieces that represent the panorama of current Mexican design.

The exhibition made up of more than 600 pieces, of which 50 are part of the new collection of modern and contemporary design of the UNAM, aims to create lines of convergence between the past and the present, through a genealogy of authors, designers and artisans, who, anchored in tradition and aware of their territory, perfectly exemplify a long history of good design in our country.
