ZONA MACO DISEÑO presented the fourth edition of “EMERGENTE”, a platform that seeks to promote the talent of young designers within the most important art and design fair in Latin America curated by Jorge Diego Etienne, Cecilia León de la Barra and Joel Escalona.

EMERGENTE invites emerging designers under 35 years of age to participate with design projects and limited editions that demonstrate high quality in production, discourse and conceptualization. This event is an outstanding platform for the presentation of decorative and utilitarian pieces that reflect originality and freshness in design.

The curatorial committee of EMERGENTE is made up of Cecilia León de La Barra, Artistic Director of ZONA MACO Diseño; Joel Escalona, ​​Creative Director and Furniture Designer; and Jorge Diego Etienne, Industrial Designer and Creative Consultant.

The pieces form a collective exhibition that is inserted in the center of the Zona Maco Diseño space, allowing great visibility for these young talents who throughout the fair will market their designs and connect with new opportunities for the beginning of their careers.
