Our Tempo stool will be part of the “Have a Seat, Mexican Chair Design Today” exhibition at the Denver Art Museum.

Curated by Jorge Rivas Pérez, Frederick and Jan Mayer, the exhibition “Have a Seat, Mexican Chair Design Today” opens in February 2024 and includes our Tempo stool in its collection.

It is an interactive exhibition that features three historical works of art, 17 contemporary seats designed by 22 Mexican artists, and an art installation.

Through their pioneering designs, the artists selected for the exhibition embark on a journey through history and traditions, exploring the enduring legacy of the intercultural world that emerged in Mexico after the Spanish conquest, incorporating elements of indigenous communities, Asian, African and European cultures.
